How does the Segment integration connect to Oneprofile?
Through Segment's API. Provide your Segment workspace credentials in Oneprofile, and the connection validates immediately. Oneprofile discovers available user traits and event types automatically.
Can I sync Segment data to multiple tools at once?
Yes. Create a separate sync config for each destination: Segment to HubSpot, Segment to Intercom, Segment to PostgreSQL. Each runs independently with its own field mapping and schedule.
What Segment record types can I sync?
Users, Traits, and Events. Each record type has its own set of syncable fields. Oneprofile discovers available properties when you connect your Segment workspace.
Do I need a warehouse to use the Segment integration?
No. Oneprofile syncs Segment data directly to your CRM, marketing, or support tools. No warehouse, no SQL, no dbt models. Add a warehouse later if you want, but it is never required.
Is the Segment integration included on the free plan?
Yes. Segment is available on all plans, including the free tier. The free plan limits total integrations and sync configs, but there is no per-connector fee.
How is this different from Segment's built-in destinations?
Segment destinations are one-directional: they push data out. Oneprofile adds bidirectional sync, so you can also write data back into Segment from other tools. Plus you get field-level change tracking and dead letter queues.
