FAQ
How does Oneprofile connect to MongoDB?
Via a standard connection string: host, port, database name, and credentials. Oneprofile validates the connection before saving. MongoDB Atlas and self-hosted instances are both supported.
Can I sync any collection, or only specific ones?
Any collection. MongoDB uses wildcard record types in Oneprofile, so every collection in your database is available as a source or destination. You choose which collections and fields to include during mapping.
Does the MongoDB integration handle nested documents?
Yes. Oneprofile flattens nested fields during discovery so you can map them to flat fields in destination tools like HubSpot or Salesforce. Nested arrays are handled as individual properties.
Can I use MongoDB as both a source and a destination?
Yes. Every Oneprofile integration is bidirectional. Read documents from MongoDB to push to SaaS tools, or write SaaS tool data back into MongoDB collections. One connection handles both.
Is the MongoDB integration available on the free plan?
Yes. MongoDB is available on all plans, including free. The free plan limits total integrations and sync configs, but there are no per-connector fees.
How is this different from MongoDB Connector for BI or Atlas triggers?
Those tools move data to warehouses or fire one-off events. Oneprofile provides managed, scheduled, bidirectional sync between MongoDB and any SaaS tool with field mapping, retries, and a dead letter queue.
